The Clayoquot Sound Solutions Committee was formed by six of North America’s leading conservation organizations – ForestEthics, Friends of Clayoquot Sound, Greenpeace, Natural Resources Defence Council, Sierra Club of Canada (BC Chapter) and the Western Canada Wilderness Committee – in summer 2006 to fight the renewed threat of logging in Clayoquot Sound. We are seeking permanent legislated protection for the unprotected ancient temperate rainforests of Clayoquot Sound.
